Administration in Panchkula

Panchkula is a well planned city located in Panchkula District of Haryana, India. It also functions as a satellite city of the Union Territory of Chandigarh. The very prestigious Chandimandir Cantonment Headquarters which serves the Indian Western Command, is also located in Panchkula city. The district comprises of five towns named Pinjore, Raipur Rani, Panchkula, Kalka and Barwala. The only Hill station in the state of Haryana called Morni Hills is also located in this District. The stipulated figure of population of Panchkula city, is 2,00,000. Panchkula and Mohali (in Punjab) are two satellite cities of the Union Territory Chandigarh.

These three cities(Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali) are collectively known as 'Chandigarh Tricity'. The Panchkula district is a very strategically located township and serves as a gateway of Haryana for States of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu &Kashmir and U.T. Chandigarh. Two National highways (N.H.22 and NH 73) pass through the district of Panchkula. N.H.-22 cuts through the district and extends to Shimla and beyond right upto China border while N.H-73start from Panchkula itself and extends to Yamuna Nagar and upto Dehradun Uttranchal Pardesh.


Panchkula Sub - Divisions

For administrative convenience, the district of Panchkula is divided into various sub divisions. At the first tier, the district is divided into two sub divisions- Panchkula and Kalka. At the second tier, the district is divided into three sub- tehsils- Morni Hills, Barwala and Rajpur Rani. At the third tier, the district is divided into four blocks namely- Barwala, Pinjore, Morni and Rajpur Rani. And at the fourth and last tier, the district is divided into five towns- Panchkula, Barwala, Pinjore,Kalka and Rajpur Rani.


Municipal Corporation in Panchkula

Municipal Corporation, Panchkula is a front-runner organization administering and providing all the civic amenities and delivering the citizen services in Panchkula Municipal Corporation Area since its inception. Municipal Corporation Panchkula is a highly citizen oriented organization which has established as its goal and rests total emphasis on the timely and efficient delivery of citizen related services with utmost convenience and transparency. The Municipal Corporation looks after civic amenities for citizens which includes Roads, sanitation, street lights, parks and solid waste management.

Munical Corporation Panchkula

The Municpal Corporation, Panchkula spans over an area of approx. 122 sq. Km. and is serving a population of approximately 3,72,000 citizens. The Municipal Corporation of Panchkula is divided into two zones namely, Pinjore and Kalka. The Municipal Corporation office of Panchkula can be found at Community Centre in sector 4 of Panchkula. The Corporation's zonal head offices are situated in the old municipal committee offices of Pinjore and  Kalka regions respectively. In accordance with the delimitation of wards notification issued by a body called Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana ,the Municipal Corporation of Panchkula has been divided into 20 wards.

Police in PanchkulaPanchkula district is one of the most beautiful & well planned city in the whole of North India and is widely hailed for its beautiful parks, world famous tourist attractons like Cactus Garden and Mata Mansa Devi Temple. Many of the Head Offices of Haryana State Government Departments are located  in this town along with various Central Government Regional offices, thereby clearly demonstrating the administrative importance of this district. Panchkula Police

Law and order in the district is looked after by a dedicated force of police personnels under Panchkula Police department. The traffic is also regulated by the same department. For regulatory convenience, the entire district is divided into zones to efficiently monitor the law and order situation.
Through its sheer dedication and hard work, Panchkula police has managed to police the entire district effectively and has ably assisted the administration in their day to day dispersal of functions by keeping control of the law and order in the district.

    HUDA ने सभी हाऊसिंग बोर्ड के मकानों में सभी कमर्शियल एक्टीविटी पर रोक लगा रखी है और इस कारण घरों में चल रही दुकानें / स्कूल बंद करा दी गयी थी। परन्तु अभी भी मकान न• 1817 में स्कूल चल रहा है। अगर कमर्शियल एक्टीविटी पर रोक है तो रैजीडेंशियल एरिया में इस स्कूल को तुरंत बंद करवाया जाए।

    Sir I have writing you for past two years that opposite to GH26 a person from village fatehpur has been parking this horse cart with two horses from 8pm to 7am . As per rules it is a offence to use footpath for tying animals. Please see this practice is stopped forthwith

    Sir, while driving to my office from panchkula to baddi I have seen one dump yard at pinjor (near railway crossing) although the site is facilitated with dustbin but it is very small with respect to amount of garbage received per day .you are requested to place new big dustbin at this place . So that we can keep area clean .RegardsPradeep sharma
